STEFANOV

THE FORBES' RICHEST FAMILY

ABOUT

THE STEFANOV FAMILY HAS BEEN KNOWN AS ONE OF THE WORLD'S MOST POWERFUL FAMILIES. FROM BUSINESS WORLD TO FASHION INDUSTRY, THE NAME SERVES AS AN ICON OF WEALTH, POWER, AND GLORY.

ORIGIN

Viggo Fredek Stefanov was one of the many men who worked under the King's orders back in early 1700's. He was the chosen man who led a team of 20 or so people to mine golds for the King himself. They successfully mined golds and made Sweden become one of the most powerful and the richest country in the world. This also led to the country's well known Stormaktstiden or "The Era of Great Power" wherein the Swedish Empire ruled over almost every corners of the Baltic region between 1700s and 1800s.

But when Gustav III initiated a war against Russia, everything fell down, specially when Sweden lost its great power over the Scandinavian lands. Viggo and his family weren't one of the unfortunates who lost their home and much of their valuables, thankfully. But the mining of golds were halted for over a year before the country gathered itself and built its empire once again.

After everything was back in order, the King once again asked Viggo to keep mining golds for him, to put Sweden back on its righteous place. But Viggo was smart, he wouldn't let the King have the golds and the wealth for himself just because he was the one who ordered him. He shed blood, tears, and sweat for every piece of gold that he mined, it was only fair that he would get something from it as well. And because of his resistance, the King was forced to make a statement and a writing that proves Viggo as the official gold miner and gold producer of Sweden. This was the start of his family's journey towards fame, wealth, and power.

THE STEFANOV MANOR

The Stefanov Manor stood mightily on a vast land owned by the family from generations to generations. It's roots are buried deep beneath the earth that no matter how strong the storms tried to knock it down, it wouldn't budge. Not even a single tremble. It is one of the few houses that received a blessing from the King of Sweden. And probably the only land that was not touched by curious and willed visitors that wants a piece of the country's wealth. Some said the land is blessed, some said it was cursed.

In the mid 1800s, when Sweden successfully rose from its defeat, the then King Gustav III gave Viggo his own land and allowed him to broaden it as long as he will continue producing gold to the country. Which he did until his dying day. And as a result of his loyalty, his family became one of the families the royal family recognizes up to this day.

THE THREE GOLD COINS

The first ever gold coin was made before Viggo's eldest son Elias was born. It was created as a symbol of the family's power all throughout the country at that time. They started rising and soon became remarkable even in other neighboring countries that they found families after families wanting to get acquainted with them.

The other two gold coins were created just before Viggo's two sons were born. Hugo was the second eldest son, the second owner of the gold coin. Josef was the youngest, and the third owner of the gold coin.

After Viggo's death and the attempted robbery of the gold coins, the family was compelled to make strict rules that only a genuine family member by blood can ever have one of the three. What made them to establish such rules was when Josef gave the gold coin to his then partner who turned out to become a spy for another powerful family in the country. This was also the same reason as to why they didn't make another one or two for the later generations to come.

As of today, Viktor Stefanov's children owns the three gold coins. Charles, the eldest and only son, Lucas, the second born son, and Henrietta, the youngest child.

THE FAMILY CREST

The family crest wasn't made until the second generation, after the passing of Viggo Stefanov. Although some of the details were his idea, but it was Elias who brought it to life. As one of the families the Royal family recognizes, the Stefanov earned their rights to have a legal family crest that will symbolize them all throughout the country.

The crest's leading symbol is the eagle and the eagle wings. For the eagle symbolizes victory, royalty, and power, something the family has and stands for as well.

The next symbol was the crown, it can mean two things; the alliance made between the family and the royal family of Sweden, or/and triumph, glory, and honor.

Lastly, the two stars and the initial of the family name. Elias wrote it to his journal that the two stars represents his father and mother that passed away, a tribute to the ones who built their empire from scratches.
